Ludwig Wandinger is a producer, drummer, composer and visual artist, based in Berlin. After studying music in Berlin at the Jazz Institute and performing as a drummer within various experimental projects throughout 2014-2020, he started focussing on his own solo career with the releases of his blown out experimental free jazz infused debut album „The Gloss Effect“ via Average Negative in 2020, the multi layered sound design driven EP „Rooms“ via Internet Cult Label „Orange Milk“ Records in 2021, the glooming ambient album „Spiritual Decay“ via Czech based Gin&Platonic in 2022, a composed classical soundtrack commissioned and released by Berlin collective and label Creamcake, numerous releases under aliases and his so far biggest full album release in October 2024 via Caterina Barbieri´s very own label „light years“ called „Is Peace Wild?“. The results of these collaborations found their release on platforms such as PAN, Genot Centre, A Flooded Need, GSV, Unguarded, FormForum, Mutants Mixtape, Squama, SFX, Unguarded, Myxoxym, Al Gharib and many more.

For 2024 and 2025, Ludwig has been curated as a signature artists amongst Shahzad Ismaily, Ganavya Doraiswamy, Oren Ambarchi and 17 other artists for the biannual Monheim Triennale. Apart from his solo releases he is a prolific collaborator for studio work as well as live performances and was working with artists such as as Elvin Brandhi, Kianí del Valle, Female Pentimento, Evita Manji, Luka Aron, Sara Persico, Brodinski, Grischa Lichtenberger, the Berliner Ensemble, Keith Rankin, the Notwist, Jim Black, Dan Nicholls, House of Base, John Object, Zylva, tibslc, Yves B. Golden, Fausto Mercier, Petter Eldh, Moran Sanderovich, Klahrk, Lucia Cadotsch and many more, fluidly changing between working along the outer edges of experimental sound art, pop, ambient and club music.
